We are seeking a motivated Junior Supply Chain Engineer / Third-Party Project Lead to support supply chain execution, supplier management activities, and customer-facing reporting across multiple programs. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer or project coordinator with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to build expertise in supply chain operations and project execution.

The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination point between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring the accurate maintenance of trackers, KPI dashboards, action-item logs, and project status information. The position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Execution & Project Coordination

  • Support day-to-day execution of supply chain and delivery assurance activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, procurement teams, and customer stakeholders to gather and maintain critical project information.
  • Track supplier commitments, production status, delivery schedules, and recovery plans.
  • Monitor open issues, risks, constraints, and escalation items and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Support project leads and program managers with execution-related activities and project administration.

Tracker & Data Management

  • Maintain project trackers, delivery status logs, action-item registers, and supplier performance databases.
  • Ensure all project information is complete, accurate, and updated according to reporting schedules.
  • Audit tracker data for accuracy and resolve inconsistencies through stakeholder engagement.
  • Consolidate information from multiple sources into standardized reporting formats.
  • Maintain document repositories and project records in accordance with customer requirements.

KPI & Performance Reporting

  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports.
  • Track key metrics, including on-time delivery, open commitments, supplier recovery actions, risk and escalation status, quality metrics, and action-item closure rates.
  • Analyze data trends and identify potential schedule, capacity, or delivery risks.
  • Prepare recurring weekly and monthly project status reports.

Customer & Supplier Communication

  • Serve as a communication liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Facilitate status meetings and ensure action items are documented and tracked to closure.
  • Provide professional updates to customer stakeholders regarding project progress and supplier status.
  • Support supplier engagement activities and coordinate required information requests.
  • Escalate critical issues to project leadership when necessary.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, tracker accuracy, and project visibility.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and standard work practices.
  • Assist with KPI automation and dashboard enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, business operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, project coordination, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
