Network Solutions Architect

Network Solutions Architect role is to help our clients modernize, secure, and scale their network environments. The SA’s daily tasks are to lead network discovery, product differentiation, network design and implementation.

Daily Responsibilities

Sales Engineering/Solution Architecture

• Act as a lead architect and trusted advisor across client engagements.
• Lead discovery meetings, assess current-state environments, and define future-state architecture.
• Demonstrate and differentiate solutions for customers and partners.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions.
• Present solution strategy, architecture roadmaps, and delivery outcomes to technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Architecture & Solutions Design

• Design and architect network solutions for SMB and mid-market clients across core infrastructure domains, including:
• LAN Routing, switching and WIFI
• Secure edge, segmentation, and Zero Trust strategies
• Data center networking
• Develop reference architectures, technical standards, and best practices aligned to client business and operational needs.
• Architect and position solutions across leading platforms including Fortinet, Cisco, Arista, Meraki, VeloCloud, Netskope, and Cloudflare.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead complex network transformation programs, including:

• Cloud and Data center migrations and consolidation initiatives
• Campus and branch rollouts
• SD-WAN and SASE deployments
• Segmentation and Zero Trust transformation efforts
• Oversee delivery from planning through implementation, testing, validation, and transition.
• Ensure designs prioritize resiliency, high availability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and escalation support during critical project milestones and complex deployments.

Security & Advanced Networking

• Architect and implement network security solutions, including:
• Firewalls across platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cato
• VPN, secure remote access, and identity-aware connectivity
• Segmentation, Zero Trust architecture, and policy-based access controls
• Integrate networking with cloud and hybrid environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with security teams to align network design with broader cybersecurity programs, including EDR, XDR, SOC, and SIEM initiatives.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across engineering and delivery teams.
• Establish and maintain high-quality documentation standards, including diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and vendor innovation to continuously improve client outcomes.
• Ensure solutions align with Graphene Networks delivery methodologies, governance standards, and quality expectations.

Pre-Sales & Solution Development

• Partner closely with sales and leadership teams to scope, shape, and position network solutions.
• Contribute to statements of work, proposals, solution narratives, and level-of-effort estimates.
• Lead client presentations, technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Support strategic account growth by identifying opportunities to expand solution value and long-term client impact.

Post-Sales Support & Escalation

• Partner with delivery and support teams to provide architectural guidance during escalations and post-implementation support.
• Help resolve complex issues, optimize deployed solutions, and ensure long-term client success.

Work Location

• Full-time remote – occasional in-office meetings/training
• Must be located in the Continental U.S.
• Infrequent travel maybe required – all costs for travel covered by client
