TECHNICAL SAP AR Solution Architect

Location: DFW (1 day/week onsite)

Role Summary

Seeking a highly hands-on SAP AR Solution Architect to support and lead major initiatives across McKesson's Accounts Receivable landscape. This role owns solution design and delivery for a complex, highly customized SAP ECC/S/4HANA environment supporting customer payments, credit card processing, lockbox operations, banking integrations, customer portals, FSCM processes, and AR automation platforms.

The ideal candidate will combine architectural leadership with hands-on execution, including solution analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, integration design, and stakeholder management. This is not a strategy-only architecture role. The successful candidate must be able to jump into a customized environment, quickly understand existing processes, and independently drive initiatives forward.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of SAP experience with deep expertise in SAP FI-AR and FSCM.

• Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
• Experience supporting high-volume Accounts Receivable environments.
• Hands-on SAP ECC and S/4HANA configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of customer payment processing and AR operations.
• Experience with credit card payment processing, payment gateways, and PCI-related initiatives.
• Experience working with customer-facing payment portals and portal integrations.
• Experience designing and supporting bank integrations and payment interfaces.
• Strong integration experience using APIs, middleware, SAP PI/PO, and external financial systems.
• Experience with HighRadius or comparable AR Automation platforms supporting cash application, collections, disputes, or credit processes.
• Experience leveraging SAP BTP, AI/GenAI, Machine Learning, RPA, and workflow technologies for AR process automation.

Technical Requirements

• Ability to architect and support complex integrations between SAP, customer portals, payment providers, banking platforms, and AR automation tools.
• Experience working in heavily customized SAP environments with significant custom enhancements and integrations.
• Hands-on ABAP understanding with the ability to review technical designs and partner closely with development teams.
• Strong experience performing root-cause analysis and deep-dive troubleshooting of complex AR processes.
• Experience creating and executing test strategies, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Ability to evaluate existing solutions and recommend scalable future-state architectures.

• Local to the DFW area.
• Recent hands-on delivery experience within SAP AR/FSCM environments.
• Comfortable balancing architecture, analysis, solutioning, configuration review, testing, and implementation support.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale AR ecosystems involving payments, portals, banking integrations, credit card processing, and automation platforms.
• Proven ability to thrive in a highly customized SAP landscape and become productive quickly.
