Job Description
A fast-growing health and wellness technology company is building the infrastructure that enables wellness businesses to offer clinical services they traditionally couldn't provide on their own. The platform connects wellness operators with clinical capabilities including blood testing, prescriptions, and other clinician-supervised services, creating a technology layer that makes it easier for businesses to expand their offerings. The company is still in the early stages of its growth and is backed by leading venture capital firms, giving engineers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the product and technical direction.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll join a small, high-velocity engineering team responsible for building the core experiences that power the platform. You'll ship production features from day one, working closely with the CTO and Senior Engineer to build partner-facing dashboards, consumer experiences, internal tools, and the infrastructure connecting them. While you'll work across the stack, this role is particularly frontend-focused, making strong React and TypeScript experience essential.

You'll also work at the intersection of software engineering and modern AI development. The team uses AI-native development tools and agentic frameworks throughout the engineering workflow, including Claude Code and MCP, and is building AI-powered features directly into the product. You'll have the opportunity to work with a modern technology stack, contribute across frontend and backend systems, and take meaningful ownership over features while receiving direct feedback from experienced engineers.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with 2-4 years of experience who wants to accelerate their growth in a startup environment. You'll have significant autonomy, minimal meetings, direct exposure to founders and technical leadership, and the opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to grow into a senior engineer. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in New York City, with three days per week in the office and the remainder remote. You'll report directly to the CTO and join a small engineering organization where your contributions will have a visible impact on both the product and the company's technical foundation.
Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally within a startup or fast-moving engineering environment
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and modern frontend development
• Full-stack development experience across frontend, APIs, and databases
• Frontend-leaning engineering background with a strong interest in building user-facing experiences
• Experience shipping production software and working through the full development lifecycle
• Daily experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with frequent releases and rapid iteration
• Strong desire to learn, take ownership, and grow as an engineer

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Next.js
• Experience with Go, GraphQL, or MongoDB
• Experience working with Google Cloud or cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with AI/agentic development frameworks or MCP
• Experience building e-commerce, marketplace, or two-sided products
• Experience with transaction flows or seller/buyer experiences

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Build and ship production-quality partner-facing and consumer-facing experiences using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Develop dashboards for wellness partners, consumers, and internal operations teams
• Work across the full stack to build frontend experiences, connect APIs, and interact with databases
• Build AI-powered workflows and internal tools using MCP and modern agentic frameworks
• Develop features that leverage the company's data infrastructure for AI and analytics
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and Senior Engineer on product development and technical decisions
• Translate product requirements and customer needs into intuitive, scalable user experiences
• Write clean, maintainable production code and contribute to a modern engineering codebase
• Participate in the team's AI-native development workflow and leverage modern tooling to accelerate development
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and continuously improve existing product experiences
• Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and practices as the team grows
