The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment like hostlers, cranes, and top loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and care.
• Safely stack, move, and organize containers within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Uphold strict safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety and a high level of attention to detail.
• Basic communication skills and proficiency in teamwork.
• Experience operating heavy machinery within a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
