Position: Communication Specialist

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Must reside in Indiana)

Work Arrangement: Remote (On-site Day 1 in Indianapolis for equipment pick-up)

Interview Process: Webcam Interview

About the Role

We are looking for dedicated Communication Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will answer incoming calls and make outbound connections to provide vital resources, referrals, and support to mothers, pregnant women, and families. You will play a key part in bridging the gap between families and essential early childhood, health, and community services.

Key Required Skills & Experience

Field Knowledge: 3+ years of experience working with maternal needs, special needs, or early child development.
Data & Reporting: 3+ years of experience using databases and generating caller data reports.
Communication: Superb verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening abilities.
Crisis & Call Handling: Experience handling high-volume incoming/outbound calls, performing intake screening, and managing sensitive or crisis situations with composure and empathy.
Technical Proficiency: Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, IT, Education, Special Education, Home Visiting, or a related human services field.
