This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Naval Architect to join a highly regarded organization supporting critical government maritime initiatives. The Role

• Provide comprehensive technical support for all phases of ship design, from feasibility to contract stages.
• Evaluate and define system requirements, conduct in-depth analyses of hull form, stability, and weights.
• Develop detailed system documentation and ship specifications for both surface assets and boats.
• Perform structural analysis and design, adhering to international and class society standards.
• Conduct and document crucial tests, including stability, speed, power, maneuvering, and seakeeping trials.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or a related engineering/marine discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum of six years of progressive experience in Naval Architecture.
• At least one year of experience with U.S. Federal or commercial ship/boat acquisition programs.
• Proficiency with naval architecture software for complex hull design problems.
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, IACS, and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations.
• Eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
