CAPEX Site Materials Senior Category Manager

IDR is seeking a CAPEX Site Materials Senior Category Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Glenn Mills, PA. This role involves overseeing a significant annual spend, managing procurement strategies for site materials, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize supply chain efficiency within an industrial setting.
Position Overview for the CAPEX Site Materials Senior Category Manager:

• Responsible for managing approximately $100 million in annual spend across Capex, MRO, and site process materials for the Americas region.
• Leading a team of Sourcing Specialists and developing category support strategies.
• Collaborating with Business Units, Operations, and Technology to create and evolve productivity plans.
• Negotiating and implementing supply agreements balancing quality, service, risk, and value.
• Conducting quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, addressing performance gaps, and identifying TCO opportunities.

Requirements for the CAPEX Site Materials Senior Category Manager:

• Experience in Capex and procurement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and category management.
• Proven ability to lead diverse, multi-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
