Job Description :

The EDI Specialist Engineer Advisor is responsible for the design development enhancement testing support and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange EDI applications integrations and data exchange processes supporting critical business operations

The role partners with business stakeholders Product Owners analysts and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into reliable scalable and secure EDI solutions The candidate will work with technologies such as GoAnywhere MFT SQL Server SSMS EDI standards APIs automation platforms scripting and related engineering tools

The candidate should have strong experience troubleshooting EDI and dataintegrity issues developing and supporting integrations and automating manual processes Exposure to healthcare EDI standards messaging technologies Generative AI and agentic AIbased process automation is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop enhance test deploy and maintain EDI applications and integrations
• Develop secure maintainable scalable code following engineering and DevOps standards
• Participate in story grooming estimation sprint planning PI planning standups demos and retrospectives
• Review lowlevel designs requirements dependencies and technical assumptions before implementation
• Troubleshoot EDI file errors application issues and dataintegrity problems
• Develop SQL Server and TSQL solutions for data analysis extraction and operational support
• Design and support APIs file transfers automation workflows and data exchange processes
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve throughput reliability and quality
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Maintain appropriate data security privacy confidentiality and integrity controls
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Support modernization and continuous improvement of EDI infrastructure and applications
