Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support and enhance SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling processes in a complex business environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP FICO experience and, preferably, experience working with cooperatives, pool accounting, grower settlements, commodity accounting, or agricultural/agribusiness operations.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, configure SAP solutions, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and expertise across SAP FI and CO modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP FICO functionality based on business requirements.
• Support financial processes including:
• Support integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and/or CO.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution.
• Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Develop functional specifications for required enhancements and reports.
• Work with ABAP/development teams on custom reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and enhancements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Assist with data migration, reconciliation, validation, and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documentation, and user training materials.
• Work with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and enhancement projects as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling processes.
• Experience with SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
