Sr. Project Manager

job summary:

This is a remote position, but applicants must be current residents of Wisconsin. Project duties will include project management/coordination, direction, guidance and consultation of multiple projects using waterfall, agile and hybrid agile methodologies.

responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of and experience with project management techniques and automated project management tools used (such as Azure Dev/Ops (ADO) and JIRA) to create detailed project plans and support Program Management Office functions including Microsoft Office Suites.
• Use knowledge and understanding of standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework.
• Documents risk and develop mitigation plans. Identify, track, and ensure resolution of issues and removal of barriers.
• Manage multi-year projects with state and federal reporting requirements.

qualifications:

- Experience with creation of detailed workplans using automated tools - 15 years

- Excellent oral and written communication skills - 15 years

- Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation - 12 years

- Application Development and Support - all phases of the systems development life cycle - supporting a CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe Systems - 8 years

- MS Product experience (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) - 15 years

- Experience completing Unit/Development Testing, Systems Testing, and Supporting User Acceptance Testing - 15 years

- Preference will be given to qualified candidates with experience in the Child Support business area and/or state application systems, procedures, and development standards.
