Solution Architect - (Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials)

Job Description:

Our client, a leading wealth management firm, is strategically modernizing its ERP technology landscape by deploying Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials alongside a brand-new enterprise data integration platform. We are looking for an experienced Financials Functional Architect who can work closely with the business to define and guide the overall functional transformation strategy. In this role, you’ll shape the future of our Financials ecosystem and collaborate directly with business leaders, finance stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to implement scalable, modern solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to understand business needs and design comprehensive Oracle Financials, EPM, and data integration solutions.
• Establish and champion data governance and data quality standards across the integration landscape, ensuring financial data integrity and strict regulatory compliance.
• Plan and advise on advanced Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials configurations, end-to-end business process alignments, and financial system integrations.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, financial controllership security requirements, and accounting best practices.
• Produce functional architecture documentation, business process maps, and participate in technical and functional review boards.
• Guide development teams in adopting new business process integration patterns, translating functional finance and EPM needs into clear engineering requirements.
• Support high severity production issues with expert functional troubleshooting and process-level resolution as needed.
• Contribute to the functional design of a hybrid Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Azure based data integration platform, ensuring business rules, EPM hierarchies, and accounting logic are preserved.

Required Experience

• Thorough and deep hands-on experience advising and suggesting industry-standard Oracle business processes to corporate finance stakeholders across the entire Finance lifecycle and enterprise performance structures.
• Robust foundational mastery of Oracle Fusion Financials functional business processes, multi-ledger configurations, and complex accounting workflows.
• Hands-on implementation and functional architecture leadership across the following Oracle ERP Finance / EPM modules: EDMCS, AR, AP, FAH (including Primary/Secondary Ledgers and Partnerships), Joint Venture, Cash Management, Asset Management, ARCS, and FCCS.
• Specialized experience designing the functional data loops between Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) and Oracle EPM FCCS, ensuring seamless extraction of actual balances, mapping configurations, and data integrity for corporate financial consolidations.
• Deep knowledge and functional integration understanding of how core finance modules seamlessly connect and pass data to Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) modules.
• Proven experience defining data governance frameworks, financial data lineage, and data quality rules to ensure accurate cross-platform data mapping, auditability, and balance sheet integrity.
• Proven track record migrating large-scale legacy enterprise ERP systems to the cloud, specifically steering the functional data mapping, schemas, and relational structures from legacy designs to modern cloud topologies.
• Strong functional command of Fusion analytics configurations (OTBI/BIP, Fusion Extracts, and Fast Formulas), role-based data security, HDL, and specifying functional requirements for Oracle PaaS extensions or accelerators.
• Conceptual baseline understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP/ADW, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) from a data model and schema alignment perspective.

Preferred Experience

• Prior functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials, specifically mapping business data models and executing migrations from PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Oracle Cloud Certifications in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (Oracle Financials Cloud Service Solutions Architect or Implementation Professional) or relevant Oracle EPM suite credentials.
