Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Engineers/Architects to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design and document application and system architectures for complex technology environments.
2. Evaluate technical solutions, integration patterns, and architecture options to support business and technology requirements.
3. Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve design decisions and architectural trade-offs.
4. Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, requirements, and implementation guidance.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	15+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, systems engineering, software development, or related technical areas.
Technical Skills	Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, Cloud Architecture, System Integration, Architecture Documentation, Technical Design, AWS, Java
Business / Domain Skills	Experience designing hybrid on-premises and cloud architectures, including application modernization and cloud migration initiatives. Experience with on-premises Java architectures, including WebSphere and integrations with mainframe, DB2, and VSAM environments. Experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migration and integration, including authentication, middleware, data stores, event patterns, caching, telemetry, serverless, and data migration.
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience supporting application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
2. Familiarity with AWS cloud services, serverless architectures, and modern integration patterns.
