Job Description
The Prospect Management Analyst at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation supports strategic fundraising in the Fundraising & Development department. This role analyzes prospect data, manages portfolios, and develops insights to guide donor strategy and pipeline growth. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, the analyst partners with gift officers to optimize outreach, track engagement, and report on fundraising performance. Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret prospect and donor data to support fundraising strategy and portfolio management.
- Maintain and optimize prospect portfolios for gift officers, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track pipeline health and fundraising performance.
- Conduct prospect research, segmentation, and scoring to identify and prioritize giving opportunities.
- Collaborate with fundraisers, leadership, and advancement staff to inform donor cultivation and solicitation strategies.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity within the CRM and related systems.
- Support forecasting, benchmarking, and trend analysis for campaigns and development initiatives.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
