AEM Business Consultant / Product Owner - Adoption & Governance

Location: 100% Remote

Engagement: Long-term, multi-year engagement

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AEM Business Consultant / Product Owner to lead enterprise content and digital experience delivery while helping clients prepare their teams, processes and governance for successful adoption.

The role supports solutions involving AEM, Edge Delivery Services and Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service. This individual will connect business objectives to delivery priorities, define measurable outcomes and help establish the operating model needed to sustain the solution after launch.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead Product Owner for enterprise content and digital experience engagements.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business objectives into prioritized requirements and delivery plans.
• Apply AEM, EDS and ACCS platform knowledge to guide implementation decisions.
• Partner with presales teams on statement-of-work review and sales-to-delivery handoffs.
• Clarify scope, requirements and dependencies before implementation begins.
• Facilitate business value and organizational readiness workshops.
• Define success measures, adoption plans and governance requirements with client stakeholders.
• Help establish roles, responsibilities, decision processes and operating practices.
• Keep business and technical stakeholders aligned on priorities, dependencies and risks.
• Identify and address adoption barriers throughout delivery.
• Coordinate readiness checkpoints, training and knowledge transfer before go-live.
• Help clients prepare to operate and evolve the solution after the engagement ends.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise web platforms, content management or digital experience implementations.
• 3+ years of direct client consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AEM solutions.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst, with Scrum Master or Project Manager responsibilities.
• Experience managing backlogs and requirements using Jira, Confluence or comparable tools.
• Experience defining business and technical requirements for interfaces, integrations and migrations.
• Understanding of APIs, SaaS, cloud services and content management platforms.
• Ability to connect business objectives with delivery priorities and implementation decisions.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service.
• Experience defining measurable business KPIs and adoption plans.
• Organizational change management or operating-model design experience.
• Experience establishing delivery governance across business, product and technology teams.
• Experience managing training, readiness and adoption activities through launch.
• Adobe AEM Business Practitioner certification.
• User experience, development or product testing experience.
