Immediate need for a talented Senior Cloud Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $70 - $75/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud solutions to support development teams.
  • Manage and optimize cloud applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
  • Utilize AWS services, EKS, and Kubernetes to enhance cloud infrastructure.
  • Engage in AI tool usage to innovate and improve processes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • 5+ years of working knowledge in cloud and related technologies.
  • Strong overall experience with AWS services.
  • Proficiency in building containerized applications using Golang (preferred) or Python.
  • Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and implementing pipelines.
  • Understanding of building secure cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Nice to have: Experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated industry.
