Job DescriptionSenior Cloud/Data Architect \n\nLocation: Charlotte, NC\nHybrid: 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote\nTech Stack: Power BI & Microsoft Fabric\n***W2 ONLY; NO SPONSORSHIP PROVIDED***\n\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud/Data Architect with 10+ years of architecture experience and strong expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure.\nThis role will play a key part in building the organization’s Power BI environment from the ground up, establishing the architecture, governance, security, and administration standards for the platform.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Architect, implement, and administer Power BI using Microsoft Fabric\n• Establish Power BI/Fabric governance, security, and platform standards\n• Design and build Azure-based data pipelines supporting Power BI\n• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions\n• Lead cloud governance initiatives and establish enterprise architecture standards\n• Provide technical leadership and independently drive architecture decisions\n\nRequired Experience:\n• 10+ years of experience in Cloud/Data Architecture or a related architecture role\n• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric\n• Direct experience setting up, administering, and governing a Power BI platform\n• Strong Azure architecture experience\n• Experience with cloud data pipelines and enterprise cloud governance\n• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills\n\nPreferred:\n• Databricks experience\n• Financial services or banking experience\n• Experience building a Power BI/Fabric platform from the ground up\n\nImportant: This is an architect-level position.

We are specifically seeking candidates who have owned Power BI/Fabric platform architecture, administration, and governance. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Power BI development, data analysis, or engineering will not be considered.
