IBM(AS400)

IBM(AS400) Location: Philadelphia, PA or Hartford, CT

* Strong understanding of IBM i (AS/400), RPG/RPGLE, CLLE, DB2 for i, batch processing, and enterprise application support environments.
* Experience in requirements analysis, impact assessment, functional specification preparation, defect triage, and production support.
* Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and development tasks.
Good to Have
* Experience with IBM i modernization initiatives, RPG refactoring, API enablement, and code standardization programs.
* Working knowledge of Al-assisted software engineering tools for code analysis, business rule extraction, documentation generation, impact analysis, and productivity improvement.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, source control management, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release automation.
* Knowledge and experience in the Insurance domain, particularly Policy
Administration Systems, policy lifecycle, billing, servicing, underwriting, and related business processes.
