Job Description

American Airlines is seeking an Associate Analyst/Analyst, People Analytics to turn workforce data into insights that improve hiring, retention, and employee experience. In this role, you'll partner with HR and business leaders to design reports, build dashboards, and analyze trends across our global workforce. Responsibilities include extracting and validating data from HR systems, developing KPIs, and presenting clear, actionable recommendations. You'll support strategic people initiatives, help measure program impact, and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced airline environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to understand people analytics needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Extract, clean, and validate data from HRIS and related systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports on key HR metrics such as hiring, turnover, and engagement.
  • Analyze workforce trends and generate insights to support talent, DEI, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure the impact of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using clear visualizations and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance and reporting standards.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and special projects in a fast-paced airline environment.
