Business Analyst - Alpha Data Platform, AVP

• Manage development and support of product offerings for the Alpha Data Platform
• Work closely with Business, Data and Technology Solutions to articulate and document business requirements in agile story form
• Align strategic product development with Alpha strategic goals and key business decisions
• Leverage business analysis frameworks and Business Architecture to develop an integrated enterprise view of the business
• Drive strategic business outcomes
• Create Agile stories based on business requirements
• Work with the development team to see stories through the project lifecycle
• Support Alpha client BAU efforts, project timelines and overall Client Service
• Provide Front to Back product expertise and guidance throughout implementation projects
• Ensure Front-to-Back solutions meet customer and State Street business requirements

• Strong business and data analysis skills
• Expertise in functional requirements gathering, documentation and data mapping
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams
• Advanced writing skills, including the ability to abstract/summarize highly detailed information
• Ability to translate customer business needs into application requirements
• Strong experience with technologies related to product implementation and client interaction
• Knowledge of State Street organizational constructs and teams
• Understanding of middle- and back-office systems, functions and services supported at State Street
• Experience as a Business Analyst on medium to large scale projects
• Expertise in data management and governance, including data lineage and data quality management
• Expertise in data pipeline and database technologies, including ETL/ELT tools, SQL Server and Snowflake
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodology and tools, including JIRA and Kibana dashboard
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Project and Visio is required
• Minimum BS/BA degree required in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent
• 5+ years of industry experience with front, middle and back office functionality and/or data management platforms, such as Eagle, GoldenSource and S&P EDM
