We're seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst to join a major technology transformation program supporting the delivery of Victoria's next-generation public transport ticketing platform. About the Role

Working closely with Project Managers, Operational Leaders, Technical Teams, and Vendor Partners, you'll play a key role in analysing business processes, defining technical requirements, and supporting the successful implementation of critical technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to design and implement solutions.
• Analyse existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution outcomes.
• Develop technical documentation, reports, process maps, and presentations.
• Support change management, user training, and operational readiness activities.

About You

You are a confident and adaptable Technical Business Analyst with a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex business challenges.

You'll bring:

• 8+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or within technology consulting/project delivery.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Experience supporting large-scale technology transformation or operational change programs.
• Broad technical knowledge across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, and networking environments.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Microsoft technologies, and Dynamics 365.
• Strong process mapping, workflow design, and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Highly Regarded

• Experience working on government, transport, ticketing, or other complex technology programs.
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or transitions.
• Exposure to both local and global project delivery teams.
• Advanced skills in Visio, Project, Excel, and presentation development.
