Job Description:

The Observability SME serves as the organization's technical authority for observability strategy, monitoring standards, and operational visibility. This role drives the adoption of modern observability practices across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and digital services while maximizing the value of Dynatrace and complementary observability technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Observability Leadership

• Define and promote enterprise observability best practices, standards, and governance.
• Lead implementation of observability frameworks across business-critical services.
• Establish monitoring strategies for applications, infrastructure, cloud, and end-user experience.
• Drive standardization of metrics, logs, traces, and events across the organization.

Dynatrace Expertise

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for the Dynatrace platform.
• Guide implementation of Dynatrace OneAgent, Davis AI, Grail, DQL, and Business Analytics.
• Optimize monitoring coverage, service discovery, and dependency mapping.
• Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization initiatives.

AI-Driven Observability

• Leverage Dynatrace Davis AI and AIOps capabilities for anomaly detection and problem analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate operational investigations and insights generation.
• Support adoption of AI-assisted observability capabilities.

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $40-45/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation
