SEN / SEND Tutor | Crewkerne, Somerset, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are a leading educational support organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide impactful, child-centred support, reimagining the world of education for vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with students who have a range of learning difficulties including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2+ professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• UK residency with the right to work in the UK.
