The Role

• Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components, including ventilation systems and internal fittings, interpreting engineering drawings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using a range of hand and power tools to produce accurate, well-finished work.
• Apply practical problem-solving skills to resolve manufacturing and installation issues, ensuring correct fit and safe completion.
• Work collaboratively within a skilled team to maintain a safe environment and deliver reliable installations.
• Contribute to upgrades, refurbishments, and new installations across secure sites.

What You'll Need

• Recognised Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers, or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience from construction, manufacturing, marine, or other practical engineering environments.
• Understanding of SHE and COSHH requirements, following safe working practices.
• Ability to work with engineering drawings, measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling components accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills to deliver high-quality work.
