Sheet Metal Worker | Bridge Of Weir, United Kingdom | On-site | £38,662 + 33% shift allowance

The Role

  • Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components, including ventilation systems and internal fittings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
  • Produce accurate, well-finished work that meets required standards and quality expectations.
  • Apply practical problem-solving skills to resolve manufacturing and installation issues, ensuring correct fit and safety.
  • Work collaboratively within a skilled team to maintain a safe environment and deliver reliable installations.

What You'll Need

  • A recognised Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers, or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, marine, or other practical engineering environments.
  • Understanding of SHE and COSHH requirements, with adherence to safe working practices.
  • Proficiency in working with engineering drawings to measure, cut, shape, and assemble components accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills to deliver high-quality work.
  • Ability to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow.
