Senior Java Developer with webMethods Experience

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and Software AG webMethods integration technologies.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and integration solutions.
• The candidate should have strong technical expertise in Java development, webMethods Integration Server, API integration, and enterprise middleware technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Develop, configure, and support integration solutions using Software AG webMethods Integration Server.
• Build and maintain webMethods Flow Services, Java Services, and reusable integration components.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for seamless application integration.
• Integrate enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems using webMethods and Java technologies.
• Work with XML, JSON, XSLT, and other data transformation technologies.
• Develop and maintain database integrations using SQL and webMethods adapters.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and cross-functional development teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide production support, resolve critical incidents, and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with Software AG webMethods Integration Server.
• Strong knowledge of webMethods Flow Services, Java Services, and package management.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Good understanding of enterprise application integration and middleware architecture.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
