Sr. CNO Developer Lead with Security Clearance

Base salary is $277,230, supported by an exceptionally strong retirement benefit. 401(k): 25% employer contribution, vested immediately ($69,308 per year). Total compensation: $346,538 (base salary plus employer 401(k) contribution). Our client is seeking a Sr. CNO Developer Lead to guide a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CNO capabilities built around operational mission requirements. The lead oversees every stage of prototyping and capability delivery, keeps the work aligned with the customer's objectives, and drives technical innovation as mission needs change. Key responsibilities Team leadership:

• Lead a team of developers through the design, development, testing, and maintenance of CNO capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to the team. Capability delivery:
• Oversee prototyping and capability delivery from start to finish.
• Keep capabilities aligned with the customer's objectives and operational requirements.
• Drive technical innovation to keep pace with shifting mission needs. Qualifications The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a long CNO development track record and real experience building and running high-performing teams.

Required

• Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience, master's degree plus 10 years, or PhD plus 8 years.
• 12+ years programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python.
• 10+ years programming CNO tools.
• 5+ years leading, managing, or supervising teams that support CNO capability development.
• Deep understanding of operating system internals and kernel-level programming.
• Experience with reverse engineering frameworks (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg) and disassemblers/debuggers.
• Experience providing technical leadership and guidance.
