Job Description

ServiceNow ITOM Consultant For Long Term @ Charlotte, NC Hybrid (3 Days)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Consultant with strong expertise in CMDB, ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, Connected Operations, and Cloud Observability.
The consultant will be responsible for configuring, customizing, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on infrastructure discovery, service visibility, cloud monitoring, and operational management.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, troubleshooting platform issues, and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain ServiceNow platform components, including forms, lists, workflows, UI actions, client scripts, and business rules.
Implement and support ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB.
Configure and maintain Connected Operations and Cloud Observability capabilities.
Maintain CMDB health, configuration item accuracy, discovery processes, and infrastructure relationships.
Develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other supported integration methods.
Configure and maintain Service Portal pages, widgets, and related user-facing capabilities as required.
Troubleshoot Discovery failures, service mapping issues, cloud visibility gaps, and platform incidents.
Support ITOM configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams to deliver reliable ITOM solutions.
