Introduction:

We are seeking a Mainframe Lead to join our team in Peoria, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers and ensuring the successful completion of mainframe projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of mainframe developers in designing, developing, and implementing mainframe applications
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand project requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Develop and maintain project documentation
• Participate in project planning and estimation

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Expert level proficiency in COBOL
• Expert level proficiency in JCL
• Expert level proficiency in DB2
• Expert level proficiency in Scheduler knowledge

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of IMS DB
• Knowledge of SAS
• Experience with IMS DC (optional)
