Job Description

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and enhance IT infrastructure in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role manages Windows servers, VMware, and network services to ensure high availability for production and office systems. Responsibilities include user account management, backups, patching, security monitoring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. The Systems Administrator will document procedures, support plant technology projects, collaborate with vendors, and participate in on-call rotation while promoting safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows servers and VMware environments
  • Manage Active Directory, group policies, and user accounts
  • Monitor and support network, storage, and backup systems
  • Perform patching, updates, and systems hardening for security
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations
  • Support plant production systems and coordinate IT changes
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on IT projects
  • Implement and support data backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
