Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5 – ServiceNow

Location: Lansing, MI (Local candidates strongly preferred)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week, starting Day 1
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Note: Local candidates are strongly preferred. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate to Michigan at their own expense upon acceptance, without delays, and follow the hybrid schedule. Onsite days will be determined by the manager after candidate selection.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Solutions Architect to support the architecture, governance, and strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform and foundational services.

The candidate will work with the ServiceNow platform team supporting CMDB and foundational services for enterprise IT solutions within the DTMB Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect ServiceNow platform solutions aligned with DTMB strategic objectives.

• Lead technical solution design, platform governance, and architecture best practices.

• Design and support integrations with enterprise applications and services.

• Provide technical guidance to developers, system administrators, and project teams.

• Support platform upgrades, performance optimization, and roadmap planning.

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.

• 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions.

• Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and CSDM.

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, and workflow automation.

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification – Mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications in CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, or ITAM.

• ITIL Foundation V3 or higher certification.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong enterprise ServiceNow architecture and implementation background.

• Must be available for onsite work 2 days per week from Day 1.

• Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense.

• Must meet the client’s certification and experience requirements.
