Job description

Job Title : Solution Architect Specialist - Local to DC metro Area

Location : 5 days onsite / week in 1551 Park Run Drive McLean Virginia 22102

Duration: Long Term contract
Must Have Qualifications: Must have at least 10 years of experience in software engineering, having progressed from roles such as software developer, DevOps engineer, or tech lead, with strong hands-on application architecture skills.
Requires expertise in solution architecture, platform and security patterns, GenAI adoption (including Freddie-approved capabilities), and effective communication and collaboration.
  • More of a brown field project- modernization, how things are built - modern delivery tekstack.
  • Application solution architect - we are going brown field moderation, individuals come in to look at application, basically move more towards modern delivery standards, individuals who have done work on AI/ML - enterprise governance capability, either enablers / accommodate the solution / design part. Java software developer background, DevOps
    engineer, hands-on application architecture skills.
  • Design solution engineering team, who does build out a strong foundation.
  • Software development Java background - they dont code but provide solution prospective.
  • 8 years of solution architect
  • AI/ML - Advanced capabilities.
  • Opportunities we have mentioned GenAI usage, putting out pivotal out of the genai adoption.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture and Business Application development
Extensive experience in Solution Architecture patterns such as micro-front ends, microservices, 12 factor applications etc.
Prior Software development background
5+ years of relevant task management experience
Hands-on and architectural experience with modern Cloud Native architectures is required, as well as, demonstrable record of leading architects through
organizational transformations
3+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as relates to architecture preferred
Experience in Generative AI, demonstrable record of applicability of AI/ML to solve business problems.
Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable
Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry preferred
