Permanent Placement
I’m working with a manufacturing company that’s making a serious investment in modernizing how revenue operations work, and they’re looking for a Project Manager, Revenue Automation to help lead it. This is not a project coordinator role disguised with a bigger title. They need someone who can step into complex finance and revenue workflows, bring structure to ambiguity, and drive automation initiatives that actually stick.

In this role, you’ll lead strategic projects tied to commission automation, AI-enabled commission processing, and AI-supported revenue recognition for project-based work. You’ll partner across finance, sales, operations, IT, and leadership to improve accuracy, scalability, visibility, and control across revenue-related processes. If you’ve led projects involving commissions, incentive compensation, revenue accounting, order-to-cash, or finance transformation, this is the kind of role where you can make a very visible impact.

What you’ll be doing

Lead end-to-end projects focused on revenue automation and finance process improvement
Drive initiatives involving commission calculations, automation, validation, and controls
Support implementation of AI-enabled tools to improve commission processing and revenue recognition
Partner with finance and accounting leaders to align solutions with reporting requirements, policy, and compliance expectations
Work across sales, operations, and IT to gather requirements, define workflows, and support integration
Build project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk management frameworks for multiple initiatives
Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and scale revenue processes in a manufacturing environment
Support testing, adoption, training, and change management to ensure solutions deliver long-term value
Why this role stands out:
High-impact opportunity with strong executive visibility
Chance to help shape the future of revenue operations through automation and AI
Cross-functional exposure across finance, operations, sales, and technology
Opportunity to build scalable processes rather than inherit broken ones
Strong potential for long-term career growth
If you’re a project manager who understands finance, can navigate complexity, and knows how to move automation initiatives from idea to execution, I’d be glad to connect.

This is a tremendous opportunity to join a scaling organization in acquisition mode making structural changes, allowing you to work closely with senior leadership, move the needle, and have real impact.

What they’re looking for

5+ years of project management experience with strong exposure to finance, revenue operations, or accounting-related initiatives
Experience leading projects tied to commissions, incentive compensation, revenue accounting, or order-to-cash
Strong understanding of financial processes, revenue flows, and operational controls
Experience in manufacturing, especially environments with project-based, product-based, or hybrid revenue models
Familiarity with automation tools, enterprise systems, and AI-enabled business solutions
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Experience working across finance, sales, operations, and technology teams
Preferred background:
Experience with ERP systems, commission platforms, revenue accounting tools, or financial planning systems
Knowledge of revenue recognition standards and compliance considerations
PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
Experience supporting digital transformation or enterprise process improvement efforts
