Site Engineer

We're recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major water treatment project in Gloucester. The Role As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements. Site Engineer Responsibilities

• Setting out for water treatment structures, pipelines, reinforced concrete works, and associated infrastructure.
• Carrying out topographical and as-built surveys.
• Producing and maintaining QA documentation and accurate site records.
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications and drawings.
• Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to achieve programme milestones.
• Resolving technical queries with the design and commercial teams.
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Monitoring engineering progress and maintaining accurate records of completed works. Site Engineer Requirements
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures, drainage, pipelines, or water treatment infrastructure.
• Competent in using Leica and/or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of setting out, engineering controls, and QA procedures.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable. What's on Offer
