Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Managed File Transfer (MFT) Administration & Automation Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Axway SecureTransport.

The role combines enterprise MFT platform administration with DevOps and infrastructure automation, supporting highly available file-transfer environments across on-premises and AWS infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Axway SecureTransport administration, API automation, MFT protocols, load balancers, certificates, IBM Sterling Connect:Direct, GitLab, Ansible, Python, and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for Axway SecureTransport administration and lifecycle management.
• Administer SecureTransport in standard and HA/active-active cluster configurations.
• Manage nodes, cluster failover, upgrades, performance tuning, and DR/failover exercises.
• Configure and support SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2 transfer sites, listeners, and partner profiles.
• Automate SecureTransport operations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Automate site provisioning, user/key management, transfer-site properties, and certificate-related activities.
• Manage CA, certificates, keystores, and truststores, including renewals and password rotations.
• Troubleshoot file-transfer failures, connectivity issues, listeners, and certificate trust chains.
• Configure and administer load balancers, including listeners, VIPs, pool members, health checks, SSL bindings, failover, and maintenance cutovers.
• Support DNS/FQDN cutovers, hostname migrations, and related infrastructure changes.
• Support MFT infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments.
• Install, configure, and administer IBM Sterling Connect:Direct nodes on Windows/Unix.
• Manage Connect:Direct processes, netmaps, authentication, and connectivity.
• Develop automation using Python, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, JSON, and shell scripting.
• Build safe, repeatable, idempotent automation for large-scale infrastructure changes.
• Manage incidents, problems, and infrastructure changes through ServiceNow.
• Maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and runbooks.
