Sr Business Analyst - Data and Analytics

Job Summary

This is a data-focused Business Analyst role within a Data Products team, working closely with business stakeholders, Data Product Managers, and Data Engineers. The primary responsibilities include gathering reporting and analytics requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, reviewing source-to-target mappings, performing data validation, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on SQL skills and be able to query tables, identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and clearly communicate findings to data engineering teams. Strong SQL and data analysis experience are the top screening priorities.

Required Qualifications (Must Have):

• 5+ years in enterprise data, reporting, or analytics business analysis. 6–8 years is preferred.

• Strong hands-on SQL, plus working use of Python, Databricks, and Power BI

• Experience with Oracle and/or Salesforce data schemas, including mapping data flows from source systems into Databricks

• User story and acceptance criteria writing in Azure DevOps, in an Agile/Scrum environment

• A clear communicator who can present to business users and hold their own with engineers
