Business Analyst

Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support data integrity, reporting, and technology operations for programs based in San Bernardino, California. This role combines analytical work, systems support, and process improvement to help teams make informed decisions and maintain reliable business operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across reporting tools, business systems, and user support needs while promoting accuracy, efficiency, and strong documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee the quality and reliability of information across core business platforms, ensuring records remain accurate, complete, and consistent. Create and validate recurring and ad hoc reports used for operational oversight, leadership review, funding requirements, and compliance activities. Build dashboards and analytical resources that measure key program indicators such as referral flow, enrollment activity, placements, caseload trends, outcomes, and target performance.

Review datasets for errors, unusual patterns, and reporting gaps, then partner with internal teams to resolve issues and strengthen data accuracy. Define and maintain reporting standards, data rules, control procedures, and related documentation to support consistent use of information. Manage assigned Salesforce and Smartsheet administration tasks, including user permissions, forms, workflows, automations, and reporting features. Provide day-to-day technical support for Microsoft 365, software tools, user accounts, hardware, and routine connectivity concerns.

Coordinate with external IT partners on advanced troubleshooting, maintenance activities, cybersecurity matters, system testing, upgrades, and integrations. Improve operational workflows by developing automation, data checks, performance alerts, training materials, and practical recommendations for staff and leadership. Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, systems support, or a related function. Hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, including reporting, dashboards, user access, and workflow support.

Strong ability to analyze data, reconcile reports, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly. Familiarity with business process improvement, gap analysis, and automation opportunities within operational environments. Experience supporting end users with software applications, account management, and general technical troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and comfort using reporting or workflow tools such as Smartsheet. Ability to create clear documentation, training materials, and procedural guidance for business systems and data standards.
