Business Analyst (Crypto)

Job Description:

• Senior Business Analyst - Digital Assets/Crypto
• Client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a CIB Digital Assets/Crypto program.
• This role will focus on requirements gathering, business and systems analysis, end-to-end process documentation, system integration, and coordination of UAT and testing activities across a large-scale program.
• The ideal candidate will have strong traditional Business Analyst capabilities along with knowledge of digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, and cryptocurrency.
• This candidate must be comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups, identifying and analyzing issues, coordinating testing activities, tracking outcomes, and preparing updates and presentation materials for executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed business and systems analysis for Digital Assets/Crypto initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Develop clear process flows, workflow diagrams, and end-to-end process documentation.
• Coordinate system integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing for large-scale programs.
• Develop testing requirements, coordinate testing activities, track progress, and report outcomes.
• Perform root cause analysis on issues identified throughout the project and testing lifecycle.
• Work across multiple business and technology stakeholder groups to gather updates, identify dependencies, and support issue resolution.
• Consolidate project information and develop materials for executive-level presentations and status reporting.
• Maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end processes and how changes or issues may impact upstream and downstream systems.
• Support Digital Assets/Crypto initiatives involving areas such as blockchain and tokenization.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Business Analyst background with demonstrated experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Experience supporting large-scale programs, including complex projects with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong experience coordinating UAT, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience performing business and systems analysis and root cause analysis.
• Ability to build and document process flows and diagrams and understand end-to-end processes.
• Experience coordinating, tracking, and reporting testing activities and outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to gather information from multiple teams and translate it into concise executive presentation materials and status updates.
• Knowledge of digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, and cryptocurrency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting Digital Assets or Crypto initiatives.
• Experience working within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or similarly complex financial-services environments.

Manager Notes (Focus):

• Strong BA skills and knowledge of digital assets, blockchain, tokenization, crypto ability to run analysis and write requirements
• Experience running UAT and testing for large scale programs
• ability to work with multiple stakeholders and gather updates and executive presentation material
• Experience with building process flows, diagrams and understanding end to end
• Requires excellent system integration, UAT, and end to end testing coordination experience and strong background as a business analyst, gathering requirements, providing root cause analysis, coordinating, tracking, reporting outcomes for CIB Digital Asset/Crypto project.
• Digital Assets experience a plus.

Pay Range: $XXX - $XXX
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
