About the job Software team lead/Scrum Master - Up to £90,000 - London Title: Software Team Lead/Scrum Master Company: CAE and CFD software development Location: London (Hybrid) Pay: Up to £90,000 (DOE) Company: A specialist engineering technology company, they sit at the intersection of advanced engineering and software, developing sophisticated tools used to design, analyse and optimise complex engineering systems. Their highly specialised technology combines engineering expertise with innovative software to tackle some of the most challenging problems across the engineering industry. They are always looking to grow in a positive direction and are looking to bring in more senior positions to help aid this growth in a calculated but fast manner. Role:

• Lead and coordinate a team of software engineers within an Agile environment
• Acting Scrum Master
• Assign and break down tasks, remove blockers and ensure projects are delivered efficiently
• Work closely with technical and product teams to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable work
• There will be a small element of C++ within this role
• Play a key role in the future growth of the business

About you:

• Some C++ development experience within a software or engineering environment
• Practical experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience leading a team
• Background in CAE, CAD, simulation or engineering software would be beneficial
• Mechanical, aerospace, engineering or software engineering experience is desirable, though a degree is not essential but ideal
• Strong organisational and communication skills
