Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Insurance domain to lead technology programs and drive successful delivery across multiple cross-functional workstreams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products and operations, along with proven experience managing complex technology initiatives involving internal stakeholders, vendors, and onshore/offshore teams.

The candidate should demonstrate strong project governance, risk and dependency management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technology projects and programs within the Insurance domain from planning through successful delivery.

• Manage multiple cross-functional workstreams, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and completed on schedule.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.

• Establish and maintain strong project governance processes and reporting.

• Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and ensure timely mitigation and resolution.

• Maintain action items, decision logs, project plans, milestones, and dependency tracking.

• Identify project risks and issues proactively and develop appropriate mitigation and escalation strategies.

• Prepare concise, accurate, and leadership-ready status updates and presentations.

• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder discussions, and governance reviews.

• Drive accountability across teams and follow up on critical deliverables and commitments.

• Operate independently while providing clear visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management or Program Management.

• Proven experience delivering technology programs within the Insurance domain.

• Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and operations.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.

• Experience managing multiple workstreams and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams and external vendors.

• Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID management, risk management, and dependency tracking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to create clear and concise executive/leadership-level project updates.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal direction.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, EIS (Enterprise Insurance Suite), or similar platforms.

• Experience delivering Supplemental Benefits or Voluntary Benefits programs.

• Experience with Worksite Programs / Worksite Benefits.

• Experience working with insurance technology transformation initiatives.
