  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an ERP Project Manager to join our team in Golden, CO.
    SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing and managing implementation tasks related to the implementation of Workday, to ensure tasks are completed on time and in alignment with overall project goals. They will partner with the implementation team to execute tasks including planning and execution of go-live cutover plans, planning and managing the implementation of temporary processes during the gap period between our December Phase 1 go-live and April 2027 Phase 2 go-live, and reviewing and refining our backlog to create a prioritized punch list and product road map after go-live.
    This role will manage and coordinate the tasks and outputs of multiple implementation teams in parallel.
    This role will collaborate with company personnel, project leadership, and external vendors to initiate, plan, execute and monitor, and communicate status on key project objectives and metrics. They will support the implementation of high-priority work by using skills related to project management, business process improvement, change management, and excellent communication.
    This is a temporary position funded through June 30, 2027. This position will be required to work in-person, with opportunities for limited remote work subject to department policy and supervisor approval.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of IT professionals, business managers, end-users, consultants, and vendors utilizing project management techniques and skills. Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members throughout the implementation process and foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote team productivity and morale.
    • Work closely with organizational change management leads to engage stakeholders to align project goals with organizational objectives and understand business requirements, processes, and challenges. Communicate effectively with staff throughout the organization including peers, director-level positions, and executive leadership. Coordinate activities with the team of professionals assigned to the project.
    • Coordinate communication and collaboration between the organization and the vendors throughout the implementation process.
    • Manage and lead tasks related to project schedules; communication plans; scope definition and change control; change management; process improvement; cutover planning, and status reporting.
    • Monitor and mitigate project risks and decide when issues need to be escalated to the project leadership team.
    • Facilitate and coordinate project-related meetings to effectively meet project needs, documenting discussions, risks, issues, and decisions.
    • Partner in executing the cutover plan for Phases 1, 2, and 3.
    • Plan and manage the implementation of temporary processes and activities during the gap period between Phases 1 and 2.
    • Monitor progress and measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Monitor system performance, user feedback, and post-implementation issues to identify areas for improvement, including creating a prioritized punch list and product road map after each go-live.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE
    • 5 years of experience in a professional setting coordinating or managing projects.
    • Experience in the public sector or K-12 environment preferred.
    • Experience implementing Workday or other ERP systems preferred.

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING
    • Bachelor's degree required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS
    • Preferred certifications: PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM), Agile, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma. Certifications or professional licenses in HR or Finance (PHR, SHRM, CPA) will be given additional consideration.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    • Detailed oriented; excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable and resilient under pressure.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills; leading functional, collaborative project teams; and effectively facilitating project meetings and work sessions.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Workday.
    • Experience deploying operational efficiencies and intuitive end-user experiences.
    • Ability to build relationships with peers and executive management and maintain these relationships.
    • Work collaboratively and effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
    • Experience in developing project requirements for complex projects, development of high-level project plans with accurate projections, and successful completion of high stakes, enterprise-level projects.
    • An understanding of business process improvement.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience executing change management and system cutover plans.
    • Ability to identify needs for project advocacy and communicate to and engage with appropriate stakeholders.
    • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. Ability to adapt project management methodologies, techniques, and best practices to achieve project goals.

    SPAN OF CONTROL This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Lead/collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver project deliverables that span across departments/sites. Identify and advise the Project Leadership Team and ERP Program Manager on risks, issues, and opportunities from the project teams. The implementation teams that this role will be leading and collaborating with are critical path in the project. Issues or delays will have impacts on the project's overall success.
