What you willdo as the SeniorManager

TheSenior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Education,leads the Council's national engagement, education andcommunications program.

As theSenior Manager, you will:

  • Develop andimplement the Council's stakeholder engagement strategy underthe Intergovernmental and Federation FundingAgreements.
  • Lead publiceducation and advocacy on competition andproductivity-enhancing reform.
  • Preparecommunication strategies, educational materials, web content,speeches, publications and digital content.
  • Coordinate publicconsultation for reviews, annual assessments and other Councilwork.

Aboutyou

In orderto succeed in the role, you will have:

Allcandidates are expected to meet the APS Integrated LeadershipProfile (ILS) for the classification advertised. Follow the linkfor more information on the ILS. This role in particularrequires:

  • Demonstratedexperience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced andlarge complex people-centred organisation.
  • Demonstratedexperience leading stakeholder engagement, communications orpublic policy programs.
  • Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to developstrategic engagement and communication plans.
  • Experience managingrelationships with senior government, industry and communitystakeholders.
  • Sound judgement andability to communicate complex policy issuesclearly.
  • Experience workingin a Commonwealth, State or Territory policy environment ishighly regarded.
