About the RoleWe are seeking a Business Development Executive to join ourCorporate sector team in Sydney. The role will support ourCorporate sector nationally, including sectors and practice teams.The successful candidate will work closely with and support ourHead of Corporate and BDMs and the relevant practice teamstakeholders.
Responsibilities include supporting the BD initiatives acrossthe portfolio, with particular focus on delivering against thestrategic plan, developing marketing campaigns and thoughtleadership, supporting pursuits and tenders, engaging with clientsfor feedback, and supporting client specific initiatives.
This full-time position is based in Sydney, although flexibleworking arrangements are available.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Creative support and implementation of marketing campaignsand thought leadership
- Creative development and implementation ofevents/webinars
- Providing strategic and proactive advice on businessdevelopment and marketing initiatives
- Leading and supporting pursuits, including preparationoftenders and capability statements (with assistance of the bidand pursuit team)
- Client research/market analysis to support businessdevelopment efforts
- Involvement in client service reviews
- Involvement in other broader business development andmarketing projects
- Key client plan support and execution
- Draft, capture and refine content in the firm's bid systemand playbooks
- Directory and award submissions
- Maintain submission register data for the firm's tenderanalysis process
- Identifying client/new work opportunities, emerging productand service areas and working with other stakeholders to pursuethese
In order to be successful in this role you will have thefollowing skills and experience:
- 2+ years' experience working in a similar role within acorporate or professional services environment
- Experience in co-ordinating marketing and communicationsactivities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongsidestrong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be an effective team-player, a can-do attitude and greatinterpersonal skills
