Head of Digital Advisory Services Lead strategic digital advisory and innovation to shape Monash Health's digital future About the Service

Monash Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Advisory Services to lead the identification, shaping and strategic advisory of high-value digital innovation opportunities across the organisation.

This senior leadership role drives hypothesis led discovery and design thinking to build and strengthen Monash Health's digital innovation pipeline. You will provide trusted, high-level strategic advice on emerging technologies, digital operating models and transformation opportunities - translating complex ideas into clear, evidence based recommendations for senior leaders and the Board.

About The Role

As Head of Digital Advisory Services within the Innovation, Platforms & Partnerships portfolio, you will lead the development of digital advisory and innovation capability across Monash Health. You will act as a key "front door" for strategic digital initiatives, partnering closely with business units, clinical teams and internal digital functions to diagnose opportunities, co design solutions and ensure a robust, well defined pipeline of projects is ready for prioritisation and delivery.

This role will also see you:

• Leading the identification and shaping of organisation wide digital innovation opportunities using hypothesis led approaches, robust analysis and design thinking
• Developing and managing the digital innovation pipeline, ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned and effectively transitioned into portfolio prioritisation and planning
• Providing high level strategic advisory services on emerging technologies, digital operating models, and complex transformation opportunities
• Facilitating design thinking, journey mapping, value stream mapping and co design workshops with senior clinical, operational and technology stakeholders
• Partnering with Enterprise Architecture and other key functions on the digital and data roadmap and operating model design
• Preparing high quality strategic advice, business cases and Board level papers that influence digital investment and strategy decisions
• Building trusted advisory relationships with senior leaders and acting as a strong advocate for digital across the organisation
• Championing continuous improvement and best practice approaches in digital advisory and strategic thinking

Full Time, ongoing role is based in our hybrid workplace, with at least three days each week on site and flexibility to work from home. Travel across Monash Health sites will be required.

About You

You know successful digital transformation is about people-not just technology.

You are a senior strategic digital leader with substantial experience in digital advisory, innovation leadership or strategic digital transformation roles (ideally 10+ years). You have a proven track record of using hypothesis led and design thinking approaches to identify, shape and progress high value digital initiatives in complex environments.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience influencing at Executive and Board level, with the ability to deliver clear, evidence based strategic advice on complex digital opportunities and risks
• Strong capability in facilitating strategic design thinking and co design processes with senior stakeholders
• Experience developing digital roadmaps, operating models and investment cases
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills at a senior leadership level.
