Role: Cloud Load Balancer Engineer

Location: Downey, CA - Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, test, implement, and maintain enterprise load-balancing solutions.
• Administer and support F5 VIPRION LTM and GTM environments.
• Create and manage Virtual Servers, Pools, Pool Members, Nodes, Monitors, and iRules.
• Manage local and global load balancing environments.
• Perform migration from physical F5 appliances to virtual/cloud-based F5 solutions.
• Support load-balancing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and IBM Cloud.
• Configure and support SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS.
• Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
• Analyze issues reported by internal and external teams and provide technical recommendations.
• Design and maintain systems architecture aligned with enterprise IT requirements.
• Work with application teams and customers to perform testing after infrastructure changes.
• Evaluate new infrastructure and application technologies.
• Ensure security products and infrastructure are regularly patched and maintained.
• Administer and architect Infoblox solutions.
• Configure, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco network equipment.
• Support enterprise cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 VIPRION load-balancing solutions in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience administering, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Infoblox solutions.
