Role : Principal Cloud Architect

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Job Type : Hybrid ( 3 Days Onsite )

• 12+ years in IT architecture roles, including 5+ years specifically as an Enterprise Architect on large, multi-year transformation or modernization programs.
• Demonstrated experience governing architecture across a large, heterogeneous application portfolio (40+ applications) spanning legacy and modern technology.
• Strong grounding in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent) and experience defining reference architectures, principles, and standards at an organizational level.
• Experience in the Insurance industry or another complex, regulated enterprise, with working knowledge of core functions such as underwriting, claims, producer/agent management, and compliance.
• Proven ability to align business transformation strategy with IT roadmap decisions, including application rationalization, technical debt prioritization, and TCO/CBA-informed sequencing.
• Experience serving as an architecture counterpart to client leadership, including running or contributing to governance/steering forums and decision gates.
• Familiarity with modern integration, data, and cloud architecture patterns sufficient to govern (not necessarily hand-build) solution- and platform-level designs.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into business risk and investment language.
• Experience in the Insurance industry, particularly within life and Pension is preferred
