Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus, and branch environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco and Arista networking, cloud connectivity, network automation, advanced troubleshooting, and infrastructure security to ensure high availability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco and Arista leaf-spine architectures across data center and cloud environments.

• Provide Tier-3 escalation support for complex network incidents, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service restoration.

• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching protocols, including BGP and OSPF, to ensure network performance, resilience, and availability.

• Execute network upgrades, security patching, migrations, and break-fix activities during scheduled maintenance windows, including occasional weekend and after-hours support.

• Coordinate infrastructure changes and vulnerability remediation with application, network, firewall, cloud, security, and third-party vendor teams.

• Develop network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline deployments, configuration management, and validation.

• Utilize cloud networking and observability tools, including CloudWatch, APIs, VPC Reachability Analyzer, and Azure Network Watcher, to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.

• Maintain network standards, technical documentation, implementation and rollback plans, and pre- and post-change validation procedures.

• Monitor network health, proactively mitigate operational risks, and support security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement in network reliability, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, operations, and complex troubleshooting.

• Strong expertise in Cisco and Arista networking, data center leaf-spine architectures, routing and switching protocols (BGP/OSPF), and large-scale production environments.

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure networking, cloud connectivity, and cloud-native monitoring and diagnostic tools.

• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, and Jira for network automation, infrastructure as code, and operational management.

• Proven experience executing production network upgrades, security remediation, infrastructure migrations, and change management with appropriate validation and rollback planning.

• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management, monitoring, high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery.

• Excellent technical leadership, incident management, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Flexibility to support scheduled maintenance outside regular business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry-recognized networking certification.

• Experience with network automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

• Experience supporting globally distributed data center environments and cloud-native networking technologies.
