Copywriter

Description
We are looking for a Copywriter to support a retail health and wellness brand through a contract assignment. This role focuses on turning scientific and product-specific information into clear, reader-friendly content for both shoppers and internal marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of long-form editorial writing and product messaging, along with the ability to simplify technical details without losing accuracy.

Responsibilities

Create compelling copy for product detail pages, packaging, labels, and other consumer-facing materials tied to health and wellness offerings. Produce feature-style articles for a quarterly publication covering topics such as supplements, nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being. Convert technical, scientific, and product information into clear messaging that resonates with a broad consumer audience. Partner with purchasing stakeholders to gather product insights, selling points, and supporting details needed for accurate content development.

Work closely with formulation and subject-matter experts to ensure claims, descriptions, and educational materials reflect technical accuracy. Collaborate with editorial partners and fellow writers to shape content themes, refine messaging, and maintain a consistent brand voice. Conduct research and interviews to collect background information that strengthens article quality and product storytelling. Requirements
Extensive experience in copywriting, with strength in consumer-facing and promotional content development.

Background writing within health, wellness, supplements, food and beverage, sports, or fitness-related categories. Ability to interpret technical or scientific information and present it in a clear, engaging, and accessible format. Experience creating copy for packaging, labels, product descriptions, or similar merchandise-related materials. Proven skill in developing long-form editorial, article, or magazine-style content. Strong copy editing and proofreading abilities with close attention to tone, accuracy, and detail.
