Financial Contract Business Analyst

NOT A C2C OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a high-performing Contract Business Analyst. In this role, you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and software development teams, translating business rules, forecasting workflows, and data integration needs into structured features and user stories managed directly in Azure DevOps (ADO). Candidate with financial planning and budgeting system experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, and leadership teams to define business requirements for financial planning, budgeting , forecasting, and expense tracking and reporting etc.
• ADO Backlog Management: Author clear, actionable functional specifications, epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria inside Azure DevOps.
• Map current-state and future-state workflows, data flows, and system integration points across financial and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle Financial etc.)
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with technical leads, data engineers, and project managers to align requirement deliverables. Presents Features and User Stories to development team in PI and Sprint Planning meetings.
• UAT & Validation: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and manage defect resolution in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise writing user stories, managing sprint backlogs, and organizing epics/features/stories. Experience with  ADO as a tool is preferred.
• Prefer someone with solid grasp of data workflows, reporting models, and API-driven integrations between financial modules and enterprise systems.
• Proven track record of translating requirements and stakeholder feedback into software development requirements.
• Strong background working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Should have experience in full SDLC.
