You will be heavily involved in the design and creation of courses. You will also be involved in teaching courses to students. You will do this by becoming a master on our core topics (BAS, IT, Electrical, and HVAC), teaching technical curriculum with state-of-the-art technology, partnering with our CEO, sales team, and the instructional team to define the best approaches, bringing problem-solving and expertise to every class you have, and being open to learning new skills as you grow with this role. If so, keep reading!\n\nThis is a fully 100% remote, work-from-home position. You will not be in-person with students and will be working from your home, not an office.

Up to 5% paid travel to trade shows and other meetings may be required.\n\nRole Overview\n\n Content Production: 60% of your time will be spent creating and editing new content. (We will train you on our video creation process.)\n Teaching: 40% of your time will be spent teaching courses to students via web-based learning sessions (synchronous and asynchronous).\n\n\nCompensation and Benefits\n\n Salary: $109k+ based on experience.\n Benefits: 401k with matching, unlimited time-off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 9 holidays plus additional days off.\n\n\nMUST-HAVE Role Requirements\n\n Instructor Experience: 2+ years of formal instructor experience in the private or public sector where you created lesson plans, taught as a teacher, managed a classroom, etc.\n BAS Technical Experience: 5+ years of experience with exposure to multiple OEM systems and products. 5+ years with Tridium preferred.\n Articulate: Your writing, communication, and facilitation skills must be strong to clearly articulate and transfer the content.\n Comfortable teaching, engaging, and working in a nearly 100% remote environment.

Often changing the course of someone's life for the better due to the available work opportunities that will then be open to them.\n Investigate new opportunities and participate in the development of effective training that is impactful and inventive.\n Align your ingenuity and innovative ideas to reach the strategic plans of the business.\n\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\n Deliver assigned web-based learning sessions (synchronous and asynchronous).\n Run weekly office hour sessions supporting current students.\n Facilitate learning of materials, processes, and systems that have advanced-level content and/or facilitate learning in multiple areas of expertise.\n Develop subject matter expertise in new technology, products, or processes and serve as a subject matter expert in the development of learning materials for these new areas using the IACET Learning Development Process (ILDP).\n Measure results of technical training using appropriate methods for determining participant reaction, amount of learning, and ability to demonstrate new skills in the classroom setting.\n Report results of measurements and evaluations to the Instructional Program Manager and CEO.

Develop and present recommendations for continuous improvements to technical training.\n Provide constructive feedback to students on their understanding of new materials and their performance in the classroom.\n Continuously update and improve delivery and coaching skills, including the use of new technologies for sharing knowledge and building skills.\n Assist customers with their training needs and questions, including documentation for remote courses.\n Work with the design and development team to create learning solutions, on-time and on budget.\n Maintain and upgrade lab equipment list used in training.\n Produce podcast episodes according to instructor's episode production schedule.\n\n
